*  The fact of the matter is that different people come from different spiritual traditions and hold different values. The question for the bride and groom is simple: Do you want your officiant to impose their world view on your ceremony or do you want someone to be an effective spokesperson for your partnership and/or your higher power? In Michael Underwood, we found the best spokesman for our partnership and our belief system.

*  Paraphrasing my mom: [In listening to Michael speak and officiate the ceremony], "I felt like I was reliving my own vows."

*  By Michael's own description, he speaks without notes and lets the spirit move him. While this requires a bit of faith for those who want polished perfection, this approach is a great way to do it. His is NOT the voice of a rube who's not done anything but sit in an ivory tower reading millennia-old arcane scripts. His are the rough hands and firm grip of a tradesman, the baritone of a guy who's been there and done that. His words were poignant, direct and had nary a hint of "I am more pious than you are".

*  I spoke to Michael several times before the actual ceremony, and he commented each time that he was in a contemplation mode for our wedding day. At the time, I suppose I was skeptical, but looking back, he was speaking honestly. His words - unscripted - captured the essence of our marriage, our relationship to each other, and our place in the universe. He reminded us that we aspire to be better because of each other. Unscripted? Yes. Sincere and Thoughtful? Absolutely. "Winged it", "Faked it", or "Got lucky"? No way. Absolutely not.

*  My only regret is we didn't tape his presentation. He nailed it.

*  I cannot tell you how much your blessing meant to us. It was without bias, the most moving and beautiful ervice I have ever witnessed. Guest after gueast expressed the same to us - something we pass along to you. This moment is, without doubt, pressed on our hearts forever. Thank you for bringing your own light, your own angels, your own blessing to our union. With love,

And the words you chose to give us, Michael, were perfect and filled us with love and happiness! The trees were all chattering and I'm sure the fairies were dancing in celebration of our union! You are both beautiful souls and Mother Nature has given you a beautiful home. We hope to see you again. Much Love.

*  Michael, Jan and I wanted to say how much we appreciated your spirit in joining us in marriage. We both feel the spirit moved you to say the things you did and that speaks highly of you.

*  Michael and Eileen, John and I wanted to share some of the beautiful pictures taken by Eileen on our wedding day. We have been nothing but pleased with our entire experience! We were looking for a peaceful and private place for our wedding and came across your web page on the internet. After my short phone conversation with Michael, I knew Wildwood was the place for us.
My friends and family have all been very enthusiastic about our marriage and have loved the pictures. I wish they could have met the two of you.
Thanks to both of you for beautiful memories and a picture perfect wedding. You will hold a special place in our hearts and we both agree that we made two very special friends on the day we were married.
